What was it really like to fight? The children will find out with the help of our scary drill Sergeant, experience life in the trenches and even write a letter to their loved ones back home.
The story of the famous author Rudyard Kipling and his son Jack will also be explored. The children will watch as Jack begs to go to war and, when Jack does not come home, they will hear the heartfelt poem that Kipling wrote for his son – ‘My Boy Jack’.
