  • Duration: 1 hr 40 minutes to 2 hours
  • Capacity: 30 Children (extra children are negotiable)

Remember, Remember the 5th of November! It’s time your children learned about the fiendish gunpowder plot!

In 1594 a group of English Catholics, led by Robert Catesby, devised a treasonous plan to blow up the House of Lords in order to kill King James I and his Government. Your children will discover the historical events that led to the plot, and see how the Scottish King James VI came to be James I of England.

They will meet the plotters, including the infamous Guy Fawkes, and become part of the gang working to bring the King down. When the plot fails and the plotters captured, the children will sit in on a court of law and watch as Guy Fawkes is tried for his crimes. They will then deliver their verdict; guilty or not guilty?
