The Egyptians
- Age Group: Years 3 and 4, KS2*
- Duration: 1 hr 40 minutes to 2 hours
- Capacity: 30 Children (extra children are negotiable)
Step back in time to the wonders of Ancient Egypt! Your children will discover how Egypt came to be and how the Ancient Egyptians lived and worked on the plains of the River Nile. They will discover how the Egyptians worshipped their many Gods and how they passed into the afterlife at their burials and in their tombs.
Your children will also learn about the intricate Egyptian “Social Pyramid” and how the majestic Pharaohs ruled their realm, focusing on the legendary Tutankhamen. They will hear how he lived, and how his tomb was discovered by the famous archaeologist Howard Carter – but was it really cursed? The children will also learn how to write their name in hieroglyphics which they can then take home.
