The Greeks
- Age Group: Years 5 and 6, KS2*
- Duration: 1 hr 40 minutes to 2 hours
- Capacity: 30 Children (extra children are negotiable)
At the heart of Ancient Greece, your children will discover how the mighty Zeus battled against the villainous Titans. They will also discover the other Gods of Mount Olympus, and learn how the Greek people worshipped them.
As your children explore the city of Athens, they will be called upon to build and row powerful trireme boats to protect the city during the legendary Greco-Persian War. Not before they have taken a democratic vote on their strategy, however!
The children will also discover the cultural achievements of Ancient Greece. They will learn the fundamentals of theatre and attend an ancient performance of the legend of Ajax and Helen.
