The Vikings
- Age Group: Years 3 and 4, KS2*
- Duration: 1 hr 40 minutes to 2 hours

Heil ok sæll! Here, your children will be transported back to the age of the Vikings! Beginning with the exciting story of the Odin and the Giants, the children will discover the Gods the Vikings worshipped and the myths and legends that defined their lives.
The children will learn of Viking feasting and entertainment and enjoy a favourite Viking pastime – boasting! They will then learn of the Viking’s unparalleled knowledge of the sea, and sail away in search of distant lands on the orders of Chief Ragnor and his sister Lagatha.
Upon their arrival in Britannia, your children will witness the Viking invasion and watch as the Saxon king, King Alfred, plans his defence. They will discover how the Vikings and Saxons ultimately co-existed and how a Viking eventually took the English throne; King Cnut.
